VINCENT E. MATTEUCCI, M.D.
Dr. Matteucci practices general comprehensive ophthalmology and routinely performs cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, and laser surgery at Northwest Eye Clinic. He graduated from the University of California, Berkley in 1992 with a B.A. in Integrative Biology and received his medical degree from Tulane University Medical School in 1997. He completed his internship at the University of Utah in 1998 and his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles, Jules Stein Eye Institute in 2001.
Dr. Matteucci moved to Bellingham in 2001 because of family ties and the desire to live in a smaller, community-focused town. He joined Northwest Eye Clinic to be part of a team that values excellence and high standards in ophthalmology. In addition to his practice at the clinic, Dr. Matteucci participates in volunteer cataract surgery missions in El Salvador for PeaceHealth Hospital and Surgical Eye Expeditions. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
